Operation Round-up is a program funded by and from the VEC members who voluntarily "round up" their monthly electric bills to the next dollar. Those living within the outer boundaries of the VEC service territory are eligible recipients of the funds generated from this program. About 84 percent of VEC members support the program, which brings in approximately $4,000 each month. The funds go to worthy projects in our service area that are either not funded or under-funded. The "contributions" link at the top of this page will show you the donations that VEC has made to our community, and "our gallery" will show you the recipients who have benefitted from this program. To apply for these donations please complete our Application found at the bottom of this page.
